Cotgrave Leisure Centre in partnership with Positive Futures will be delivering a free Sports Leader Award Training course for young people aged 14-16 years living in Cotgrave. The course is funded by the Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership and is aimed at reducing youth related crime and anti-social behaviour in Cotgrave. We have 12 spaces available on the course which commences on Thursday 4th February 4pm until 6pm and is delivered every Thursday for 30 weeks excluding school holidays. This is a great opportunity for a young person to obtain a vocational qualification with scope to obtain volunteering opportunities and casual and permanent employment within Cotgrave Leisure Centre and other Parkwood leisure centres. We are aiming to target excluded young people living within Cotgrave that would benefit from the training and help reduce youth related crime and anti-social behaviour. I would be grateful if you can circulate this information to both young people in Cotgrave and your colleague's working with these young people. Referrals can be made by e-mail to kris.gregory@parkwood-leisure.co.uk or to my colleague Phil Copley, Centre Manager at phil.copley@parkwood-leisure.co.uk. If you refer a young person please provide their name, date of birth and address.
