My Yorkshire Terrier has died because she was unable to eat despite the tablets the vet supplied to increase her appetite. The reason was that she had Rotten Teeth and a severely ulserated mouth.Numerouse visits to the vet failed to check her mouth and her life could have been saved with anti-Biotics. | |||||

I'm sorry to hear about your little dog. So sad when a much loved pet dies, but you realise rotten teeth don't happen suddenly and vet's, like dentists, can't prevent it, it is down to tooth care from puppyhood.

Of maybe you could or should have notice, after all you were with him every day.

I forgot to add she also suffered from a damaged liver and kidney failure. A dog groomer has told me that her dog which was suffering from excessive adrenalin production was taken to the same vet who gave it an injection of adrenalin and it killed her dog.

Sorry to hear about the death of your yorkie, they are renown for bad mouths I have a 13 year old who came to me 3 years ago and her mouth was terrible, rather than put her through an anesthetic and let the vet clean them I gave her PLAQUE OFF which my wheatens have had since they were 12 weeks old, they are 10,7,and 6 and all have beautiful mouths and the yorkies mouth has become better and she has stopped losing teeth, her breath is better and she is altogether a happier dog. I would tell anyone to get PLAQUE OFF it is a small amount on the dogs food daily and a quick brush once a week will keep the dogs mouth healthy and its not expensive

"The vet" saved my dog's life. I'm very grateful.
