Thought you all should know that there have been numerous break-ins over the weekend. Ringleas, Prioridge, Burhill, Whitelands and Woodview have been affected so far. Sheds and garages are mostly the target in the early hours (2am) but apparently he walked into someones house midnight on sunday so please be vigilant and lock your doors. The police have told me that he is after power tools, although he did steel from a freezer kept in a garage. Please be aware!!

Found out that I've been broken into, on Thorntons Close, and when asking neighbours they were broken into as well. I've lost my old but good drill set. Neighbour had his restored to him by the police as the thief was caught.
Told today to claim on insurance but my excess makes that impossible. Police not interested in restoring my property even though neighbour said the thief had two drills on him at arrest and the police must have kept my drill as evidence.
What's the point of policing Cotgrave?
