How lovely to hear of some good news in Cotgrave, the Crime reduction, the comments re Apprentice Groundsman etc. I lived in Cotrave for many years and thought it a great place to live. It had a great community spirit and it has saddened me to read about the problems this last few years. | |||||

Quote from the previous thread" Please note that due to vandalism the play area on the Green will be closed until repairs have been carried out to make it safe for use."
Is this just across from the police station?
I think there is still a long way to go before we start patting ourselves on the back.

Unfortunately vandalism will never go away entirely. However, well done to those who have gone a long way to endeavour to make Cotgrave a better place to live as it is a lovely village.

I love Cotgrave and have settled in a particularly quiet spot. When people pass by our close curtains twitch and cameras roll. I believe. So when a fleet of four police vehicles arrived on the road just out side our house a month ago I, and about another 30 people, was curious. A fleet of police cars in a quiet cul de sac is a bit unusual. So curious, in fact, that on passing on foot I asked a constable what was occurring."Nothing to worry about", said he.
I have an opinion about police.
